Great place for Sunday lunch after a walk along the canal. Plenty of tables with parasols to hide from the sun. Only minor niggle was lack of a full vegetarian option from the pop-up restaurant, but told this can change from week to week. Food and drink was great, chunky chips were fantastic, albeit my friend’s only vegetarian option was chips with curry sauce and a pickled egg, and turned out she was more than happy with that, along with the four pints of cider Will definitely return next time I’m in the area, and place does get busy at times.

We love Unit 1!! Such a great vibe, beautifully located & staff are always lovely! Krombacher served here is always beautiful (they also do great range of other drinks) They also do guest kitchens on weekends: such as Mexican, burgers, Greek etc.. Thursdays are their pizza nights. Worth checking out!! (Super dog friendly too!)

Loved this place absolutely brilliant! Super friendly staff and a lovely outdoor seating area. Inside was very spacious and cozy too. It's very popular with locals and tourists alike. There's a small "industrial estate" behind and one of the units is a micro brewery (Hop Fuzz) you can sample there produce in Unit 1, actually it'd be rude not too! Thursday's are Pizza night and quite honestly these are some of the best pizzas you will find outside of Italy. Other nights they have a pop up kitchen and the menu is very different but also delicious. If you want to check the menu you'll need to check their web site. In short this place is amazing if you don't visit then you will have missed out on an absolute gem of a place!

Very sweet staff, the smoked haddock was our favourite, and home-made custard and rhubarb ice cream was perfect on a hot day today!

What a great little place. Lovely vibe to it, dogs roam free, food and drinks very good. Staff provided my mum with some paracetamol after she fell over on the canal path. The chocolate brownies could easily be split in half and served with a bit of ice cream instead for us calorie watchers!

We stopped here for lunch today. We enjoyed sandwiches that come with a good side salad and crisps, all for a great price. Staff were fantastic, providing service with a smile. The pub is in a great location next to a public car park, alongside the Royal Military Canal and on a public path leading to Hythe. The pub is immaculate inside and out where tables and parasols are available for eating alfresco.
